A comprehensive guide to local organic and sustainably grown food, services and products in Massachusetts and beyond. A project of NOFA/Mass.
The Farm School is a thriving New England farm that engages children and adult students in practical work and meaningful connections. Our training program for new farmers, Learn to Farm at The Farm School, educates thoughtful, engaged and responsive farmer-leaders committed to farming practices that sustain and regenerate land and community.
We raise Certified Organic vegetables, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured pork and eggs from free-range hens.
Our beef is grass fed and finished. Cows graze on our pastures in summer and eat local hay in winter. Our pigs are pastured in our forests and fed non-GMO/pesticide free grain. Our lamb is grass fed and finished. Sheep graze on our pastures in summer and receive alfalfa feed and local hay in the winter. Our eggs are non-GMO and free range. In summer, laying hens nest in a mobile coop that moves amongst our pastures, where our chickens range freely. Our hens eat GMO-free grain.
